Human Angel

You gave me strength gave me hope

Why won’t you save me

Baby I feel myself giving up

She’s just doing her thing

How do you do it

Human Angel

You see that little girl

She’s alone in the street

That was a century ago

How do you do it

Human Angel

Listen to me

I can’t take it

Do you see that little girl

Human Angel

That’s me

She’s alone in the street

She’s laughing and twirling

Around and around

Arms stretched hands open

She’s catching stardust

How do you do it

Human Angel

Nurturing me

You’re hurting me

My love

Here I am

Look at me

I’m in pain

I’m ashamed

I am your Human Angel

Here I am

Your Human Angel

It’s my last chance

To save you

She’s in the middle of the street

She’s twirling around and around

She’s screaming

Hand’s clenched

And the stardust falls to the ground around her

Here I am

Look at me

Right through me

Here I am

I’m your Human Angel

Please hold me tonight

I really need you

And she’s standing

In the middle of the street

In his arms

Catching stardust tonight

His Human Angel

How do you do it

How do you

Human Angel

And she twirls around and around in the street catching stardust

About moosewalker

Recently I have learned to accept myself imperfections and all. I have always defined myself through others because I was afraid. Afraid to let people see the real me, afraid they may not like me, afraid they may break my heart. Standing here today I’ve been through all of that and I’m OK. I have found my voice through my writing and although I am a work in progress I finally feel free. Expressing myself and being honest with myself has allowed me to emerge from my shell. I haven’t completely discarded it for it’s been my hiding place all of my life. I’ve just redecorated! My greatest joy comes from having my words delight, inspire and move you. Please put your comments I love reading them. “Standing on the rock arms outstretched I can touch heaven and earth “ Love Always, Heather
