Hold me in your arms

I don’t want you to leave

At least not like this

I thought I meant more to you

Than just a passing kiss

Hold me in your arms

Maybe tonight we can put the past behind us

Let’s hold each other tight

We can make it last

Even for just one more night

I want you to hold me in your arms and wipe my tears away

 We’re so good together

 Please just one more night

I know we can work it out

Don’t let this come between us

I just want you to hold me tight

Make the pain go away

Let me spend the night

We can work it out

I want you to hold me in your arms and wipe my tears away

 We’re so good together

 Please just one more night

I’m not walking away

What we have is too good

To see it end this way

Put your arms around me

Please just let me stay

I want you to hold me in your arms and wipe my tears away

I love you too much

To just walk away

So please let me stay

We can work it out

Just give us a second try

I know it’s hard to get past a lie

I just want you to hold me tight

Make the pain go away

We can work it out

I want you to hold me in your arms and wipe my tears away

Please just let me stay the night

We can work it out

Our love is worth it

I want you to hold me in your arms and wipe my tears away

About moosewalker

Recently I have learned to accept myself imperfections and all. I have always defined myself through others because I was afraid. Afraid to let people see the real me, afraid they may not like me, afraid they may break my heart. Standing here today I’ve been through all of that and I’m OK. I have found my voice through my writing and although I am a work in progress I finally feel free. Expressing myself and being honest with myself has allowed me to emerge from my shell. I haven’t completely discarded it for it’s been my hiding place all of my life. I’ve just redecorated! My greatest joy comes from having my words delight, inspire and move you. Please put your comments I love reading them. “Standing on the rock arms outstretched I can touch heaven and earth “ Love Always, Heather
